CNY celebration @ our sweet home

Mummy invited some of her friends over to our place for dinner and to celebrate the cny. Mummy mentioned its good to have this gathering to catch up with some old friends, most are busy parents.

Daddy was busy whole day at the kitchen making stock for the steamboat by boiling the chicken bones, vegetables, meat etc, to give flavour to the soup. He also got to prepare other ingredients for the steamboat and grilled the chicken wings. Luckily, aunty Tami was there to help out. Hey, with me around…dun you all think my mummy was damn free…shaking legs.

Thanks all the aunties, uncles and the little ones for coming and we hoped your enjoyed the dinner.

Lion & Dragon dance

We went shopping @ Bugis and were lucky to catch the Lion and dragon dance performance. Both daddy and I shared the same interest as we love to watch the lion and dragon dance, which is more frequently performed during the Lunar New Year. Back at home, I surprised my parents by imitating the lion dance. Whenever, they mentioned 'lion dance', I would jump and roll on the floor. They found that I could absorb things quickly and were really amused by my performance.

Dragon dance performance.

Both daddy and me enjoyed the splendid performance.

lst performance: dragon dance.

2nd performance: lion dance.

Me in orange polo shirt, standing right in front with daddy...can you spot me?

Mui Fun

Something special. Mummy cooked Mui Fun and I had it for lunch. I quite liked it as I finished the whole plate of rice. Tips to share, mummy had dipped the pork meat with some cornflour and the meat had turned out to be very tender. Mummy will look out for more recipes and prepare a nutritious meal for me.

Yeah yeah, I got another new ball from Jiu Jiu & Jiu Mu. It’s a nike basketball and I love playing ball. Daddy said our study room can be converted into a mini olympics as I got lots of sport games...tennis, soccer ball & bowling etc all sponsored by my Jiu Jiu & Jiu Mu. Think should start training hard for the youth olympic.

FANTASTIC fun at the zoo

Guess where we are...Yup it’s the s’pore zoo and we gonna explore the place together with gong gong and po po. It has been such long time since my parents last visited the zoo and its really changed a lot…very spacious, clean and organise as compared to the previous one. I have made friends with animals like the monkey, hippo and cheetah. But I do not like the white tigers and am afraid of them. I refused to come down to take a walk and wanted mummy to carry me when I was near them. Truth to tell, my mummy is also afraid of them.

We gonna see the real animals soon.

Lion roars.

Make a guess w/o looking at the animal behind us.
(i) dark patches on its body,
(ii) very long legs,
(iii) very long necks.
Yes its the giraffe.

Pedestrain crossing..nope its Zebra crossing.

Rhinoceros.

Take a closer look, its the wolf behind us and my favorite bedtime story is also "Donkey and the Wolf".

Sorry orang utans, could not admire u...I need to recharge...Mummy milk, pls.

Sea Lions splash show..oops no seats for us.

Its the elephant and do you know the elephant is the second tallest member of the animal kingdom, after the giraffe?

Its another show times. This time round, we managed to find seats.

Kangaroos..it has powerful back legs with long feet.
Mummy are you hinting at an Australia trip??

Guinea pigs??

I fancy hippopotamus the most and stay the longest admiring her.

See, I a fan of the hippo.

I waved goodbye to the monkey when I went off to explore other animals.

I fearful of the white tigers.

We spent almost half a day at the zoo. My parents had introduced me to many jungle friends. I should say the trip to the zoo is indeed very educational and fruitful. The next field trip that we gonna visit is the Night Safari. Hooray!

We had lunch at Sakura restaurant at Admiralty Park. Mummy and po po prefer the other branch at Clementi Woods. There have more food varieties.

Admiring the rich variety of garden plants, fishes and tortoises.
Did you also notice the jie jie standing beside me? She and me became friends and we had fun playing with each other.
