Toilet-trained progress

I wanted to 大 便 (poo) and signaled this urge to my parents. Daddy put me on the toilet seat and i had a bowel movement. This was actually the 2nd time that i sat on the toilet seat. Previously, i refused and with resistance when on the toilet seat. I preferred and had an easier time with potty chair that sat on the floor.

Well…mummy said that I had shown tremendous improvement since she started toilet-trained me 2 months ago. I am able to tell my parents the need to go to the bathroom and be able to hold my urge. I never had accidents at home or in public. Thanks to mummy who borrowed the potty training dvd from the library to help initiate and motive my interest in potty training and also the nice mickey mouse briefs that she had bought for me.

There’s still one more step to go..from staying dry after naps to nighttime dryness and I can say bye-bye diapers for good!

Free Play

I becoming more independent and playing on my own nowsadays. Before, I always want my parents' company and participation in everything. This evening, I came up with my own pre-bedtime activity…playing with my toy helicopter. Its pretty amusing to see me playing solo and mummy captured all my cute actions in video.

Play is the way a child will grow, develop and learn. My parents would provide plenty of time for both free and structured play to encourage balanced learning.

And mummy’s birthday wish is that the year ahead will be filled with happiness, success and good health for everyone in the family.

Clayton's Birthday Party

Aunty Siling's son turned 1 and we attended his birthday party. The party theme was mickey mouse and being a big fan of mickey…I was elated.

Happy Birthday Clayton and hope you like our present.

Happy 1st birthday!

Hey look, there was a big fat clown making balloon sculpture for the kids. He kept me entertained so that i could sit still on the chair. A sign of relief from my parents..daddy did not have to chase after me..as i would be like a monkey running all over the place and mummy could mingle around :)

My wish was granted. Uncle Clown made me a mickey balloon sculpture. Hooray!

Smile everyone.
